MEET YOUR STYLIST
Hi! My name is Kelly, I'm a stylist and salon owner in Vernal, Utah.
I am a project-loving, business-minded, family-focused, rock music lover with a little quirk to me. I like things that are different, vintage and original. I had hair in the back of my mind as a teen and young adult but never thought I would take it this direction. I'm fully in the beauty industry and surprisingly, I love it!

My specialties include blonding, extensions, short textured or fringe cuts and bridal. I create lived-in and effortless looking colors. Some of my services take a long time because I am hair- health focused and I do a lot of fine hair, which means I need to slowly lighten your hair to keep it healthy! I love doing consultations, so come talk to me and I will give you my honest and straight up opinion. No BS here.

I love the business side of this industry as well and marketing has become a big part of my career.

I'm pumped to get to know you, and while I struggle with names and small details, I want you to talk my ear off! (you just might have to repeat yourself sometimes). *insert lol

Best wishes & warmest regards,
Kelly
your experience

Let's make it simple, shall we?
First off, booking.
Text me or the salon. I can't always take a ton of new clients, my schedule is limited. But trust me, if I recommend you to someone, I know they're amazing.
Second, in salon.
First, always, a consultation. I won't skip it. If you don't like questions, you may not want to come to me. I'm going to feel confident I know what you want before I do your hair.
Lastly, let's be real.
I'm big on supporting others, I don't want to gossip for the sake of conversation, I don't like fake, so tell me like it is and I'll extend you the same courtesey, and to be honest, I want you to tell me all about yourself but I'm bad at asking questions so please bear with me!
Okay, love you friend, see you soon!

Education...
I have been interested in hair styling from a very young age and started cutting hair in college while studying other professions.
When I moved to Vernal, I knew I had the option to either work or go to hair school and I chose Prime Cut Academy! I finished my schooling and licensing in 10 months as well as multiple brand education courses. Within the last few months of my schooling, I had the opportunity to do an assisting internship with Sharon Warick, an experienced stylist in Tooele, UT. This was a turning point in my education because I was able to learn advanced techniques including razor cutting and an exceptional client experience.
Since then, I have continued my hair education as well as my knowledge of the business side of this industry. I have taken specialty courses in blonding, toning, specialty cuts, extensions and business/marketing.

I look forward to years of gaining experience and continue to prioritize education in my salon.
Products I use...

I am very picky about the products that I use and am partial to lightweight styling for an effortless feel. I do a lot of fine hair on my clients so my product knowledge is catered to that.
I use and carry a variety of brands. I feel that we have a selection that is the best of the best. When blonding, I use both Redken and Schwartzkoph. I tone using Redken shades eq and for coloring services I use Redken and Joico.
To style I use a variety of brands including Redken, IGK, Sexy Hair and Amika (among others). Most of what I use we have available for retail in our salon but if not we can special order anything we can get!
I heavily value consultations and I believe that products are not a one-size-fits all. Please come in for a free consultation for my recommendations! (Just prepare yourself, I ask a lot of questions!)
I'd like you to feel confident styling and maintaining your hair when you leave the salon so please feel free to ask questions!
